George was born in London, England. He read law at the University of Reading and was awarded an LLB Honours Degree in 2010. He then obtained an LLM in Corporate and Commercial Law at Queen Mary, University of London.
He joined M&M in 2011 as a trainee advocate and was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2012.
His main areas of practice are ship finance, corporate & commercial and shipping work.
George acts for international and local banks and other financial institutions in ship-finance transactions, as well as for shipowners, charterers and ship-managers in non-contentious aspects of shipping, including ship & yacht sale, purchase and registration in Cyprus. His experience in this regard extends to international shipping registries.
He also advises clients in matters relating to all forms of legal entities, including registered societies and institutions, and he has provided extensive legal advice on matters of contract law, company restructurings and corporate finance transactions.
